The Tip of Andalusia


From the newly rebuilt Great Mosque of Granada, and from anywhere else in this city, you see this fortress, the Al-Hambra. The last great stronghold of the Spanish Muslims, and arguably one of the most poignant pieces of architecture of human history, the Al-Hambra rests, on the tip of Andalusia.

The Swan and the Sun
